prelim for a piece I wanna start working on,, I like the prelim but i’m not sure what medium I want this to be :/ originally I wanted to do this as a linoleum cut but I feel like that will mean sacrificing the little details I really like and now i’m leaning towards a watercolor / colored pencil illustration but I still have some thinking to do!
Yeah initially looking at the prelim I thought I would look nice with watercolor but a linoleum cut would also be killer!

I agree linoleum would be a sacrifice to this image. It calls for color and your mark. So funny [@Sasha Krasnitskaya] the cow looks like it has the same indecision that you do over the materials. Ha! "Which way do I go?"
You could do both. Simplify the lino....print it....dry....add watercolor. Just make sure you print it on watercolor or mixed Media paper.
