There is this tiny hidden parking lot on the bay side of Coronado Island where I like to park to have a cup of coffee or eat lunch. It is the perfect spot to quietly chill and enjoy the natural meditation of being mezmerized by the sea. I love watching the passing boats leave a wake that dissipates back into the water. That movement of the water is a perfect metephor for life and an inspiration for mark making in my paintings.
