Deep in a phase of trying to connect with my childhood through relearning how to fish, I snagged a refrence photo from a newspaper image, cropped it and stylized it. The coloring of the fish represent the astrological transition from the 12th house Pisces to the 1st house Aries, tourquoise for Pisces and Red for Aries. I was tuning into my Neptune in the 1st house and exploring it's emotional quality. I can see my love for the ocean first emerging in this early work. It was one of my first pieces sold when I started seting up shop at art fairs.
