Lemons no. 2 was the second round of my lemon still life painting. The reflections, both the physical reflections of light and the philosophical reflections of the conversation during the private coaching session, were the most captivating aspect of the painting experience. It had rained earlier in the moring, so the feeling of painting outside was fresh. Towrds the end of the session, a bright mid-morning light fell upon the plate of lemons like a spot light. It is so beautiful to be an artist!
