The Lake is a nature spot where I love to chill and watch the water. Painted this same scene a decade ago on a foogy early morning. Then, I was looking for the mood and just enjoying the opportunity to paint outdoors. This time around, I wanted to focus on clarity, light and form. The reflections in The Lake are both meditative and a physical delight.
