After moving back to San Diego, I continued my artistic practice of scouting for hidden local nature spots.  I had hiked Cowel's Mountain three times, and often spent sacred time with Mother Nature at the base of the mountain sitting in the brush. The dusty trail and man-made log stairs just delighted me with their angles. Truely this was the path to nowhere.
