Gardening has been a joy of mine from a very long age. I remember searching for the first sprouts of perennials my mother and I planted to shoot through the melting spring snow. Much of my own imaginary time as a child was spent pretending to garden. I have done some landscaping gigs along the way as well as looking after a property regularly. These garden boxes were part of a Guerilla Gardening class that I offered to students. The depressing, shabby and empty garden boxes in the back alley behind the art studio where transformed into blooming and bountiful succulent gardens. This piece commemorates passing along my joy to others.
